Overview
With pbs, clients are offered a combination of license-free software, proven methodologies, direct payer connections and dedicated personal support. In a typical engagement, clients use the pbs Health Office Management System (HOMS) to collect receivables, book appointments and to manage the interface between EHR, HIE and other types of systems. In order to provide clients with the best possible reimbursement, pbs maintains an extensive network of direct electronic connections with trading partners such as insurance companies and banks.

Some pbs clients do not use the HOMS software, but depend on pbs for other critical business functions. These services cover a broad range of functions, from electronic account reconciliation, to serving as a print shop and statement mailing service.
